Mr. Dineshbhai Halani
Dear Childrn and parents,
Our school is a place where you come to learn, to experience and to evolve. Just children learn so much in school, we learn so much from you. Your smiling faces, your never-ending curiosity, your calm and easy acceptance of situations, your enthusiasm and creativity……………… all this teaches us that it is very important to be child-like and to let our pure inner-self be nurtured. It is often felt that in the desire to attain happiness we tend to externalize the source. We believe that we can be happy if we achieve or obtain something external-be it material or non-material. The state of happiness of a person should not depend on external factors.
Happiness is a state of mind that we have to find within ourselves. Suppose you lost something (like your bunch of keys) inside your house. Now as you are searching for them, the lights go off due to a power cut. Outside the street lights are shining brightly and you think – I will never find my keys in the darkness so let me go search outside in the bright light! Well, no matter how hard you look- you are not going to find those keys! Similarly, Joy is within you. If you have lost the keys to happiness and joy, you must look within yourself. You perceive the world just as you imagine it or experience it. All reaction to external experience are within your control. It is very important to nurture your inner self to be able to be truly happy, calm and peaceful. Once you have unlocked the mystery within, every single thing in the outside world will fall into place. You will become the source of joy and happiness and will be surrounded by it. So, take responsibility of your self and see the world around you change.
Small things happening every single day make the world spectacular. It is never about the big things! Take care of the small things and the big ones are automatically taken care of! If you want to reach he top of a mountain to achieve happiness, remember, all the growth and joy happens while you are climbing. Reaching the peak gives you a sense of satisfaction but the joy is in the claim.
You dear Children, are so joyous and naturally happy when you are very young. As we grow older, We tend to externalize the joy and that’s when our natural joyous state is lost. I urge all of you to go within and connect with yourself. Nurture and love yourself and draw from that immense source of joy that exists within all of us. Live in the now and experience the magic of life. Always remember that being kind is more important than always being right! Be that person who cares, who shares and who believes in the magic of love, honesty, kindness and humanity!
God bless
